The documentary "Little Big Journeys" was recently released by the BBC. The golden-headed lion tamarins observed on the Fazenda Bom Pastor in the monitoring project are part of Episode 2, along with pangolins from Taiwan. Episode 2 can be viewed online. It tells the story of an exciting, unusual journey of the family group. The documentary was filmed in October and November 2022 and was supported by our monitoring team. Jiomario "Bila" dos Santos Souza guided the BBC team to the best filming locations and Dr. Teixeira, AMAPs project coordinator advised the team on all questions regarding the habitat, behaviour and actual conservation status of golden-headed lion tamarins.
