In October and November 2022, the golden-headed lion tamarins at Fazenda Bom Pastor were filmed by the BBC. The BBC was supported by our monitoring team. Bila guided the BBC team to the golden-headed lion tamarins for the filming, while Dr. Teixeira advised on scientific issues such as the habitat preferences and social behavior of golden-headed lion tamarins. This resulted in a story about an unusual journey of a family of golden-headed lion tamarins. The documentary "Little Big Journeys" was produced over the course of last year and has now been released. The story about golden-headed lion tamarins is included in Episode II and can now be streamed on the BBC website.
